The Ultimate FTX Claims FAQs

As of 30 July 2025

Where can I access my FTX (Bahamas process claim)?

https://digitalmarketsclaim.pwc.com/

First distribution received. When is the next one?

September 30th. You need to have everything ready by the Next Record date which is August 15th. This means, KYC ok, objections settled, tax and distribution provider selected. This applies both if this is your first distribution or your second one.

I missed my first distribution and second one, what can I do?

Simply fill out all the required documents by the next record date and you will be good for the next distribution date

First distribution received. How much is the second one?

Not yet. The judge approved to unlock another 1.9bn in reserves (out of the 6.5bn still held on). Reserves are held to cover for potentially disputed claims. As more claims get settled (e.g. the dispute is resolved) and lawsuits get won (e.g. FTX doesn't owe other parties anything else), this amount will go down.

Is the FTX portal (US) already updated with the data for the next distribution?

Not yet, it will likely be updated after the Record Date and 5-10 days before the actual distribution date.

I have a <$50k claim and I didn't get the distribution yet, am I still receiving interest?

No, the final distribution amount is capped at 120.5%, regardless of when you get your money

How can I see if my dispute has been solved?

Check on Kroll website: https://restructuring.ra.kroll.com/ftx/Home-DocketInfo

How long will it take me to get my full amount?

As per the plan, claims over $50k will be entitled to get up to 149% of their claim value. This is expected to take 2-3 years, dragging until 2027 and potentially beyond. Distributions will likely be every 6 months and the bankruptcy will give out whatever has been unlocked since then.

I am in a restricted jurisdiction, can I change my KYC?

Potentially yes, but more information will be available in the next court hearing, after the next decision about restricted jurisdictions. This means that you will need to be living in another country, and this should be reflected in your identity documents and proof of address

I am in a restricted jurisdiction, can I simply choose another country in the distribution provider list?

No, the country of the distribution provider needs to be the same as the KYC.
